The application is seeking permission to open a takeaway in the former pharmacy on Gorleston High Street.

The shop closed in November 2023 and the premises, which is next to the supermarket Iceland, has been vacant ever since.

Now Kiriharan Mahadevan wants to sub-divide the existing shop to create a second unit, and open a restaurant and hot food takeaway.
