Buzby Allen, a fixture at Potters Resorts in Hopton for more than 40 years, was left with severe speech and mobility challenges following a catastrophic basal ganglia stroke in May 2023.

The prognosis was bleak, and survival alone felt like a miracle. But Buzby - known for his boundless energy, humour and warmth - has never been one to give up without a fight.

With the support of the NHS, his devoted wife Lizzie and a close network of friends, he has made remarkable progress.
