Norfolk MP cleared of Commons rules breach after probe lasting just HOURS
Great Yarmouth MP Rupert Lowe was being probed by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards after a member of the public lodged a complaint.
However, he was cleared after just a few hours.
Money was donated to a crowdfunder started in March to support a national inquiry into gang-based sexual exploitation across the UK, but the complaint was that the independent had not declared it on his MP's register.
However, concluding his investigation, Daniel Greenberg, parliament’s standards commissioner, wrote: "Following a complaint from a member of the public........
