A new report produced by Norfolk County Council made the bleak estimate in the light of proposed job losses at Lotus and the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board.

Officers said that Office of National Statistics figures showed employment rates were falling and estimated that, should that continue, Norfolk could be looking at between 2,700 and 15,000 job losses over "the next couple of years".
