MP Adrian Ramsay beaten in Green Party leadership battle by 'eco populist'
His leadership rival Zack Polanski was elected following a vote by members.
Mr Ramsay, a former Norwich city councillor who became an MP in last year's general election, had been seeking re-election as a co-leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, alongside fellow MP Ellie Chowns.
But Mr Polanski won with a vote of 20,411 members, a vast majority over the 3,705 votes cast for Mr Ramsay and Ms Chowns and the largest ever number of votes in a Green Party leadership election.
