The pair's legal experts had argued, in London's Royal Courts of Justice, that the council failed to follow proper and lawful processes when deciding and agreeing Sheringham Recycling Centre should move from its current site, off Holt Road, in Beeston Regis, to fields opposite.

Mrs Justice Lieven dismissed all the grounds Hilltop's barristers argued and said "consideration of alternatives was legally adequate. But the Reads have applied for permission to appeal her decision.
Why do they want an appeal?
The crux of their application is that the council did not properly consider alternative sites and failed to present full information to the planning committee, which approved the plans in May last year.
