Decision due over green light for new £109m road for Norfolk
Norfolk county councillors will decide this week whether to grant planning permission for the the West Winch Access Road, with County Hall officers recommending that they do.
The 1.5-mile, single-lane carriageway scheme would connect the A47 and A10 south of King's Lynn and serve 4,000 homes planned for the West Winch area.
The scheme includes five new roundabouts, and modifications to the existing Hardwick Interchange.
That includes dualling the section of the A47 between that junction and the housing access road and the removal of the Constitution Hill satellite roundabout.
Street lighting is proposed only........
