Young farmers' club still going strong after 80 years of countryside change
Founded in 1945, the club has witnessed challenges ranging from post-war agricultural mechanisation to Foot and Mouth disease outbreaks and Covid lockdowns during the last eight decades.
But the YFC's central ethos has remained constant - providing a place for rural young people to meet and learn new skills, united by a shared passion for the countryside.
