Leading Norfolk farmer 'shocked and humbled' by twin industry honours
Richard Hirst is the 2025 winner of the coveted Timothy Colman Prize, the top annual award made by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA).
He also won the Best Farming Champion title at the Norfolk Rural Business Awards, with both prizes presented at last week's Royal Norfolk Show.

The 400ha farm produces cereals, sugar beet, potatoes, vining peas and salad crops, and also rears sheep, runs a beef suckler herd and fattens pigs on contract.
But the Hirst family has also found new revenue streams by operating a horse-riding livery, a farm shop and cafe, and a popular farming-themed tourist........
