Food security conference debates livestock's role in a sustainable farming future
The event brought sixth form and college students from across Norfolk to the John Innes Conference Centre on the Norwich Research Park.
It was organised by the Food and Farming Discovery Trust (FFDT), the educational arm of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, and chaired by BBC radio's Farming Today presenter Anna Hill.

The world's food security challenges were outlined by Sabine Virani, coordinator of Sustainable Food Norwich, who listed climate change among the key threats.
She said researchers had estimated between 21-37pc of global greenhouse gas emissions are attributable to our food system - while farms are also vulnerable to the consequences of failed crops due to increasing floods and droughts.
Other challenges include massive levels of food waste and biodiversity loss - including pollinators vital to food production - as well as food poverty and nutritional health issues.
