Robert Tilney, a regular arms and militaria specialist on the popular BBC show, will be telling his "Tales from The Antiques Roadshow" at the free event on March 4.

Mr Tilney, who is a Master Gunsmith and a Law Society Expert Witness on Firearms and Ballistics, runs a traditional gunsmiths in Beccles which was established by his great-grandfather in 1860.

He specialises in the sale, repair and restoration of both modern and antique firearms, and is also an avid country sportsman, running a family shoot.

The farmers’ evening is jointly hosted by the National Farmers' Union (NFU) and Norfolk-based accountancy firm Lovewell Blake, whose agricultural partner Ryan Lincoln will be chairing the event.

“We are delighted to kick off our 2026 programme of farmers’ evenings with something a little different – an inside insight into one of TV’s most long-running and loved TV programmes," he said.

“Robert Tilney is a true countryman and a renowned raconteur, and the evening promises to be entertaining for anyone with an interest in the countryside.”

The event at Halesworth Golf Club starts at 7.15pm on March 4. Attendance is free, but places must be booked via www.lovewell-blake.co.uk/events.
