Agri-tech conference hears why we must 'get research and innovation onto every farm'
Farmers, researchers and innovators from across the region joined the REAP Conference in Peterborough, organised by the Agri-TechE network.
Access to funding, technology fragmentation, and a misalignment with farmers’ needs were identified as perennial barriers to the adoption of the latest agri-tech.
But delegates heard that new funding streams and a more open approach to co-developing new technology was making it easier to bring the benefits onto farms.
