'Significant' west Norfolk arable farm up for sale with £6.3m price tag
Old River Farm, at Tilney All Saints near King's Lynn, is a "substantial and well-equipped arable farm" which has been put on the market as the family which owns it is retiring from farming.
The sale also includes land and buildings at Laurels Farm in nearby Terrington St Clement, bringing the total area to about 505 acres.
Rural agency Brown&Co says the property offers highly-productive Grade 1 and 2 land, with silty soils suited to combinable and root cropping, "supported by a comprehensive range of modern high-spec agricultural buildings".
Brown&Co agent Rowley Barclay, who is handling the sale, said: "We have not had many parcels of land coming onto the market of this size and quality in west Norfolk recently, so it is a significant sale.
"We're hoping for wide range of interest, both locally and further afield. There are a lot of good farmers in the locality, but it could also attract investors nationally or internationally.
"It is good enough to attract a broad spectrum of buyers.
"There could be alternative commercial uses for some of the buildings, which broadens the opportunities still further. It will attract an array of potential buyers."

The property is being sold by private treaty, and is available as a whole or in three lots.
Old River Farm spans 421.54 acres of Grade 1 land, suitable for growing combinable crops, potatoes, sugar beet and other root crops, while Laurels Farm has 78.82 acres of Grade 2 arable land.
Potatoes form a key part of the current rotation, and Brown&Co says the farm has "an established market for Sagitta potatoes, consistently achieving top-tier fry quality".
The listing includes an "extensive range of modern agricultural buildings", including around 2,600 tonnes of "top-of-the-range" grain storage with underfloor drying facilities, a 1,000-tonne potato store with an adjoining grading shed, and a general purpose building and workshop at Old River Farm.
