'End of an era' as Norfolk family sells machinery after 80 years of farming

Three generations of the Crowe family have worked at Manor Farm in Wood Norton, near Fakenham, since the Second World War.

The GW Crowe & Son business began with George Crowe, whose son Maurice is still a partner as he approaches his 90th birthday, alongside his two sons Simon, 62, and Marcus, 59.

But with no-one in the next generation able to take on the 350-acre family farm, the decision was taken to sell the £4.75m property - and its large machinery collection.

An estimated 250 farmers, dealers and potential........
