The Le Strange Estate has applied for planning permission to site 21 new "traditional" timber huts among the dunes at Old Hunstanton.

A planning statement says 16 would be built between existing properties opposite the Le Strange Hotel and five north of the Hunstanton Golf Club.

It adds there will be a loss of habitat in the two areas, which will be made up for by removing "encroaching scrub" from from an area of the dunes more than double the size of that........
