Victor Blowers appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday (March 12) via a prison video link for a plea hearing and admitted four offences of causing or inciting a child aged 13-14 to engage in sexual activity.

The offences date back to  December 2022.

Recorder Richard Leiper adjourned sentence until April 17.

In December last year Blowers appeared in the dock at Ipswich Crown Court  with his son Alexander Blowers.

Victor Blowers, formerly of Stafford Road,  Great Yarmouth,  but now of no fixed address, admitted nine offences including rape, sexual assault , assaulting a child under 13, taking indecent photos of a child and making indecent images of a child.

He was jailed for 12 years with an extended licence period of four years.

Alexander Blowers , 41 of Morello Place, Cambridge, admitted rape,  two offences of sexual assault and making indecent images of a child.

He was jailed for 20 years with an extended licence period of five years.

At the pair’s sentencing hearing in December the court heard the abuse was discovered after the child told a teacher that a man had used his phone to take pictures of their private parts.

Victor Blowers was identified as the man in question and when he was arrested, he readily admitted to the abuse and said he was “besotted” with the child.

Further evidence came to light, identifying Alexander Blowers as having sexually abused the child as well.

The child described being driven to remote locations by the father and son and sitting in the back of a car with Victor Blowers on one side of them and Alexander Blowers on the other side before carrying out the abuse.
