James Hancock was given the £1,300 Carrera Vengeance cycle when he turned 16 on April 24, and hoped to use it to help find a summer job and travel to college when he starts there later this year.

But it was stolen days later when he was approached by an older man who threatened him if he did not hand it over, before riding off on it.
