A trio of burglars had forced entry into a property in School Road in Gorleston in a brazen raid just before midday on Tuesday, March 18.

It saw armed officers rush to the scene as the burglars made off with an unknown quantity of jewellery.

As well as armed police, a dog unit and a drone unit were also deployed while officers swept the area and checked multiple addresses.
