Photos show mess left behind after travellers leave illegal camp on Norfolk common
The group, who arrived at Southtown Common on Friday, drove off on Thursday morning, 36 hours after a deadline for them to go.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council, which owns the land and served the travellers with a notice to leave by 3pm on Tuesday, is now conducting a clean-up of the Suffolk Road site.

Photos show bin bags full of rubbish, as well as large piles of wood chippings and of garden waste, which locals say were not on the common before the travellers arrived.
