Shane Cross, 31, appeared at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court charged with assault causing actual bodily harm, kidnap, criminal damage and burglary.

Sally Harris, prosecuting, told the court Cross had "punched the victim in the face" and "threatened to kill her and her children".
