Marcel Gray, had hoped the Great Yarmouth Borough Council would allow him to build the 1.8 metre (5ft 9in) tall border around his single-storey on the corner of Arnott Avenue and Youell Avenue, Gorleston.

However, his plans were refused after planning officers ruled the barrier would be "a visually intrusive block of fencing........
