Victoria Mayo, 41, who also worked for the BBC and Global, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Edward Royall during a "disagreement" at Oulton Broad North railway station.

Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court was told that her boyfriend had called police about the incident, on February 22, in which he is also said to have had his hair pulled.

Mr Royall was in court to support Mayo - of Johnson Way, Lowestoft - who spent 13 years working at Anglia before leaving to focus on her PR business last year.
