Council to vote on new measures to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour
And now Great Yarmouth Borough Council is set to vote on new measures aimed at addressing these reported issues in the town.
The proposals will be discussed at a council meeting on March 20, and include introducing a new Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO).
If approved, it will outlaw public drinking of alcohol, begging, urinating in public, spitting and riding bikes or e-scooters on paths.
It follows a public consultation last summer, where residents identified safety and cleanliness as key concerns.
