Council has 'limited powers' to deal with complaints about people feeding gulls
Belton Parish Council and Great Yarmouth Borough Council had considered putting up signs in the village to stop people feeding the protected birds.
In April, a parish council meeting heard complaints about people feeding the gulls in the Bracon Road area, resulting in "a lot of mess on vehicles and property”.
But in this month's parish council meeting, a borough council waste and protection officer said they would only interfere if vermin problems........
