Bar owner who stole £300,000 of books loses licence over 'money laundering' fears
Christopher Nunn, who runs the Wine Vaults in Beccles, lost his authorisation following a meeting of East Suffolk Council's licensing committee.
Police had called for the measure after Nunn, 42, was convicted last month of the theft of specialist legal, tax and accountancy book from the printers where he previously worked.
Nunn's lawyer, James Winter-Whitaker, argued that the hearing should be adjourned as he had not been given enough time to prepare. However, this was rejected by the councillors.
