The 34-year-old, from Rainham in Greater London, was arrested by police on Tuesday, in connection with a protest at RAF Barnham, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, the week before.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of trespass with intent to commit a criminal offence.

The man has been bailed and is due to return to police on 12 October.
