Hopton-on-Sea Parish Council says it “cannot take such a large development” and fears Gorleston will encroach on the village if plans for the huge new estate on Links Road are approved.

“There has already been a lot of house development in Hopton-on-Sea and we feel that the village cannot take such a large development,” read the parish council’s scathing objection to proposals submitted by the county-council owned Repton Property Developments.
