London-based OPD Energy is battling the decision taken by Broadland District Council in March to reject its proposals for an array of panels in Alderford, near Lenwade.

Councillors said that building the solar farm, to the south of Hall Road, would result in the loss of some of the best agricultural land in the area for 40 years, the lifespan of the project.
