Investment stock draws strong interest

One of the day's standout results came from Lot 3, 198 Thorpe Road, Norwich – a freehold residential investment comprising five self-contained flats across a three-storey mid-terrace Victorian property.

With all five flats currently let and producing £35,640 per annum, the lot was guided at £325,000 and sold for £357,000 – representing a return of nearly 10pc for the winning bidder and underlining the continued appetite among investors for high-yielding income-producing stock in the region.

The property was sold on instruction of executors.
