Sitting in approximately half an acre (subject to measured survey) of lush grounds, Rectory Farm is a 17th century property with character features throughout.

Selling agent Fine & Country said: “This property was a working farm for over 200 years and the character is undeniable with weathered beams that can tell a tale or two, original stone floors and oak framed walls featuring original mullion windows, along with the inglenook fireplace.

“The current owners have taken the utmost care of this home, continually updating, replacing and repairing to ensure the fabric of the building is preserved.”

Updates have included adding a pantile roof to the porch on the side (with full listing permission granted), new bathrooms, kitchen and utility room, and new French doors to the rear.

The roof of the rear elevation was stripped, re-boarded and re-tiled in 2005, new windproof felt and batons were added to the front in 2019, and the gable-end window was replaced in 2021.
