The New Inn, in Lower Street, Horning, was visited by a Food Standards Agency inspector at lunchtime on July 16.

The inspector awarded the Broads pub the low rating, meaning “major improvement necessary”.

While the hygienic handling of food, including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage, was rated as good, the cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building were found to need major improvement.
