Figures show the council’s 30 car parks generated a total of £2,740,448 last year, with Cromer and Sheringham leading the way as the district’s biggest earners.

The highest-grossing car park was the 265-space Cromer Meadow, which brought in £395,543.

It was followed by Sheringham Station Approach (£335,524) and Cromer Runton Road (£270,064).
