Couple lose holiday let appeal despite planning win over tight driveway battle
Mark Short and his husband, Lawrence Wolfe, had converted an outbuilding at their home in Swafield, into a one-bedroom B&B which hosted more than 120 guests in its first year.
North Norfolk District Council refused retrospective planning permission last year, citing inadequate parking space and poor visibility from the driveway, as well as concerns over nutrient neutrality.
The couple then appealed the decision to the Planning Inspectorate.
