500-acre country estate opens its doors to the public for first time in a generation
Wolterton Park, near Aylsham, officially welcomed visitors on June 11 with the launch of a major contemporary art exhibition called Sea State and a new residency scheme for artists.
The 18th-century Palladian hall, which sits in 500 acres of parkland, had been largely closed to the public for a generation until it was bought by Richard Ellis in 2023.
