Businesses shortlisted for Positive Impact in the Community award
Break is a Norwich-based charity that operates 12 children’s homes across East Anglia, alongside its fostering, wellbeing support, mentoring and leaving care services.
Break empowers young people to overcome challenges, build confidence, create lasting relationships and unlock their potential through tailored and therapeutic support.
Its work also boosts confidence and opens doors to education and employment.
Five of Break’s young people are studying for a degree, including two at top-tier universities, while 71pc of its care leavers are engaged in employment or training, far exceeding the national average.
The judges said: “Break does so much in our county for some of our most vulnerable residents. Its work is consistently respected and recognised across the board, and it rightly deserves to be shortlisted.”
