Awards searching for groups on the journey to net zero

Luke Bridgman, managing director of award sponsor Ørsted’s Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm, has high expectations for this year’s entrants.

“Net zero ambitions should be authentic, with buy-in from senior management, clear targets set and a plan for how to meet them,” he said.

“This should include KPIs for each year and regular check-ins within that year.”

Entering the Net Zero Award should help challenge companies to examine their existing strategies and determine whether or not they’re fit for purpose, said Mr Bridgman.

“It’s also a chance to champion great work done within organisations which are passionate about tackling climate change with positive action,” he added. “Finally, it’s a great opportunity to bring colleagues together with a shared goal,........
