From later this year developers will be required to add solar panels to new homes unless buildings fall under certain exceptions.

Renewable energy maintenance company J&G Maintenance welcomed the changes, but warned homeowners and housebuilders of a growing number of “unscrupulous” solar panel companies operating in the east of England.
