'I stand with the chancellor:' Farming minister rules out inheritance tax U-turn

Daniel Zeichner, Labour’s environment, food and rural affairs minister, said reversing the decision to scrap inheritance tax relief for farms valued over £1m is out of his hands.

The shadow secretary Victoria Atkins, who was also at the show, said the taxes will lead to 22,000 jobs being lost in the east of England alone - coming at a £1.5bn cost to the economy.
