This is regarding the story “The hands that clean our world” by Aiman Saleem, (YW, December 14). It was an impactful story emphasising the importance of garbage collectors, highlighting their essential role in keeping our homes and communities clean and free from health hazards.

It is crucial to recognise their hard work and treat them with the respect they deserve. By acknowledging their efforts and providing them with better working conditions, we can help create a better and civilised society. We must play our part by responsibly disposing the waste and reducing litter to foster a cleaner........
