It doesn’t take an MBA from Stanford to know that the biggest companies in Silicon Valley tend to cozy up to whatever political party is in power. Take Meta, which suspended President Donald Trump from its platforms after January 6, only for CEO Mark Zuckerberg to go to Mar-a-Lago for dinner the night before Thanksgiving after the 2024 election; soon after, the company killed its DEI programs. Zuckerberg later joined fellow moguls like Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Apple’s Tim Cook, and Alphabet’s Sundar Pichai at Trump’s inauguration.
