It feels as if there has been a breath of fresh air injected into our housing market.

A fair number of my clients have been sitting waiting to see what is going to happen with interest rates and home prices.

I’m not entirely sure what has changed but most of my pre-approved clients are now out actively shopping and writing offers. Historically things tend to slow down a bit over the summer while people are on holidays or out enjoying the sunshine.

It still feels like more of a buyers’ market. I’m seeing some listings sitting on MLS for over a month.
