Indian-Australians might vote Labor. But who is actually going to vote for the Coalition again?

As you would know, there is an Elton John song for every occasion. To borrow from that noted boyband The Proclaimers, John goes from misery to happiness today, yeah. He's got something to offer us every single moment.

And this week, he could have offered that other J Price a lyric so approps. Yep, Sorry does seem to be the hardest word. Or as Elton John and Bernie Taupin wrote: "It's sad, so sad. Why can't we talk it over? Ohh, it seems to me, that sorry seems to be the hardest word."

It's been just over a week since Jacinta Nampijinpa Price spoke to the ABC's Patricia Karvelas about migration. Price told Karvelas that Labor was running a migration program to keep the government in power. Specifically a migration program for Indians.

"Absolutely. This is Labor. Basically, it's power at any cost. And we see that occur all over the place in terms of the way they conduct themselves. We see the way in which they like to influence the Indigenous community and remote communities, the influence of the unions. It's ultimately about power."

I mean, this is just whackjob conspiracy theories. All kinds of cray. And she cherry-picked the data found by RedBridge Consulting's Kos Samaras.

Yep, there are pockets of Indian-born Australians around the country where the vote is sky high. Samaras acknowledges that Price used his data - but she forgot about the communities where it's nothing like that.

Anyhow, the other J Price thought she was going to be catapulted to fame and fortune when she ditched her old party just before the last election. She tied her fortunes to that other person who had no idea how Australia worked, Peter Dutton. How much of "no idea"? Couldn't hold on to his own seat. That much.

I truly wonder how it is that the Liberal Party thinks it can ever get elected if this is the way its members behave.
