Your Social Security number, income data, and personal information are safe for now.


Seriously? Sorry Liz, but that ship sailed. Not only is our personal information not safe, it’s everywhere. Hell, it’s probably printed on fliers being handed out on New York city streets.

You want a credit card? Well you can’t get one unless you give up every shred of personal information, your name, address, social security number, date of birth, email address, and phone number. You have to disclose your annual income whether you rent or own your home, what you do for a living, etc.

And the creditor can sell/share your information. You can sometimes prevent this if you drill down into the microscopic print and find a way to ‘opt out’. Yeah, we don’t have lawyers and judges to stop this sort of violation of our privacy, it’s on us.

Of course the worst offenders for collecting/storing/accessing our information is the same den of thieves (government) that want to lock out Elon and his team,
