I suffered through watching former President Biden's stumbling, snide, periodically profane eulogy at Rev. Jesse Jackson's funeral. He made sure to tell the overwhelmingly Black audience that he was 'a h*ll of a lot smarter than most of you', at one point.

He can't help talking down to Black people. It's his factory setting.

He, like former President Bill Clinton, mistakenly feel he gets a 'pass' to insult us as a segregation era White Democrat who played upon racial exclusion for political gain.

In their day, you were called a 'liberal' or 'moderate' Democrat just for 'gracing' historically Black churches with your questionable presence. As a Southerner, I know the type well: they tuck klan robes in their pants and tell us the only racists are across the aisle.

However, given the Reverend's status in their political party, it was no surprise that Biden and others in its upper crust were in attendance.

Conversely, I think late inclusive Republicans like Jack Kemp and Bob Dole would have attended this homecoming service or at least paid their respects through press releases.

The fact that Joe Biden couldn't help talking down to Black people, even at the homegoing service of someone whose work helped his White House victory, speaks more eloquently than I about his museum grade racism in a digital age.

I close with this video of his full remarks at Rev. Jackson's funeral, if you can stomach it...
