Bone-chilling winds blowing in off the Atlantic highlight the latest Nova Scotia power outage. Rain more like winter sleet, and for the second time this day, we are left in the dark and the cold.

Our first power outage came at 12 midnight, according to Nova Scotia power, their unannounced scheduled maintenance would return heat and light by 5 a.m. The first power outage ended at 6:10 a.m.

A second power outage struck out of the blue at 4:35........
