Pope Francis has been praised (eulogized) as great spiritual leader by the fake news media, a variety of politicians, and world leaders. However, the Jesuit was more involved in worldly matters than any of his predecessors. In fact, he was called out by conservative Catholics for violating church doctrine. For example, the former Pope supported the ordination of homosexual priests, and the consecration of gay marriage, in direct violation of Vatican doctrine.

Moreover, in 2020, NBC, (Nutty Blathering Communist News), reported: "Pope Francis called for the passage of civil union laws for same-sex couples in a documentary that aired in Rome on Wednesday, in a major departure from the position held by the Vatican's doctrinal office." And, in 2023, NBC reported: "Pope says priests can bless same-sex couples, a radical change in Vatican policy (doctrine)".
