Shops could be forced to accept cash as usage declines – have your say
Concerns have been raised about the UK becoming a "two-tier society" as cash usage declines among British businesses. A Treasury committee hearing highlighted that vulnerable individuals, such as the elderly, those with learning disabilities, and domestic abuse victims, risk being excluded from society if the country transitions to a 'cashless' economy.
