GPs across England have agreed to new contract changes designed to "bring back the family doctor" and eliminate the "8am scramble" for appointments, the Government has announced. The British Medical Association (BMA), the doctors' trade union, and the Government came to this agreement on Thursday, which will see an additional £889 million in funding by the year 2025 to 2026.
