Calgarians voted No to the bid.

The councillor who stood up for what he believed was right even when not one other member of council stood up with him. In fact, a few of them hated his guts.

And I cannot forget the councillor sitting alone at city hall just before a Christmas past after city council would not even discuss his plan for helping out residents of the city-owned Midfield Mobile Home........
