May I start by wishing everyone a good start to the New Year in my first column of 2026, writes the Conservative MP for Mid Buckinghamshire Greg Smith.

I hope you were able to enjoy some time over the Christmas and New Year period with family and loved ones. For many, it offered a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and spend time with those who matter most. It also reminded us of the strong sense of community we are so fortunate to have across Mid Buckinghamshire.
